Keep Calm and Make Oil?: The Digest’s 2019 Multi-Slide Guide to Infra’s GTL Tech

November 10, 2019 |

Infra Technology has developed and patented a Gas-to-Liquids (GTL) technology (INFRA.xtl), based on the Fischer-Tropsch synthesis process, for the production of light synthetic oil and clean liquid synthetic transportation fuels from natural and associated gas, as well as from biomass and other fossil fuels (XTL). INFRA says with a capital investment of $24-70K per barrel of capacity per day including engineering, equipment costs and more, and with a cost of conversion of $6-10 per barrel, including cost of catalyst, labor, and more, INFRA.xtl represents a breakthrough in the synthesis of liquid hydrocarbon fuels. Check out their Multi-Slide Guide to get all the details on how this is feasible and why they are calling this the new generation of GTL technology.
