Indonesia’s B30 mandate ready to roll following successful road tests

In Indonesia, the Jakarta Post newspaper reports that the government’s B30 road trials have been completed successfully, paving the way for roll out of the fuel on January 1 as planned. The tests saw 11 vehicles drive 50,000 kilometers, all showing “relatively similar” results across the different cars and engines when it comes to fuel consumption, emissions and also power, but in a concession to engine makers’ concerns will advise drivers that filters must be changed more often with the higher blend.
