January 1, 2020 |

In Washington, Reuters reports that Energy Information Administration data shows October biodiesel production at 144 million gallons, 2 million gallons more than in September. Of the total feedstock used, about 51% came from soybean oil, about 558 million pounds. In September, however, 599 million pounds of soybean oil was used as feedstock. Biodiesel production is expected to increased following the president’s signing of the biodiesel tax expenders bill just before the end of the year.
