Q: What was the reason for founding your organization – what was the open niche you saw that could be addressed with a new product or service? What was the problem, or gap, or opportunity?

Originally, we were interested in malodour and sludge build up in septic tanks in Australia.

We wanted a BIOLOGICAL solution…..after a year of work 24 years ago we developed a unique 10% fully organic solution that turned out to have at least a dozen different uses as well as the original use.

It has now been used and tested in Australia, U.S.A., Ireland, China, Hong Kong, India, Malaysia and New Zealand in a multitude of industries and situations.

From these beginnings we became interested in Whole System Transformation and shortened food chains that have socio/economic impact.

Biology and microbial actions to perform a multitude of tasks is the way or the future.

Biophysics Research Pte. Ltd. is the parent company, we have subsidiary companies in the U.S.A. – Australia – Ghana – South Africa.

Q: Tell us about your organization. What do you do?

Our solution is biodegradable and 100% fully organic.

The product – SOLUTEK – works as an enhancement agent for microbial processes where by its addition to a system it massively increases the growth in numbers of the “good” microbes in a given system and therefore increase by a large, easily measured amount the total efficiency of systems.

Our solutions are made to a secret formula – only four people in the world know the formula.

Q: What stage of development are you?  Choose one:

Commercial stage – have mature products or services on the market.

Q: What do your technologies, products or services do and accomplish – how does it (they) work, who is it (they) aimed for?

This is difficult to do. We sell into any market whatsoever that has a problem with clean water or fresh water or microbial actions in soil.

We have developed our own patented waste to energy systems that make a small, remote village or a military pot or an aid response o disaster fully viable and able to be put in place quickly.

Our systems are very simple and all use, at some stage or another our SOLUTEK product whether or not in waste water plants, cess pits or septic tanks or biodigesters to increase rate of methane production and shorten production times while producing a higher quality digestate for use as fertilizer while giving the ability to re-cycle water either as “A” Grade agricultural water or as potable water.

Q: Competitively, what gives your technology, product or service set an edge in cost or performance, sustainability, or any other aspect, that makes it stand out from the crowd, In short, what makes it transformative?

There is absolutely no other product in the world that does not contain enzymes or bacteria or GM bacteria whatsoever that can do what our product does.

SOLUTEK does not contain any bacteria or any description or any enzymes of natural occurrence or man-made and is 100% safe if ingested by an animal or a human being.

Q: What are some of the top milestones you have accomplished in the past 3 years?

Our program of Whole System Transformation has now been recognized by the UN and the EU as well as several governments and universities as the way of the future and plans to socio/economically uplift small, rural and remote regions are being based on our systems. The military organizations of several countries are taking up special versions – ruggedised – of our systems for their own purposes.

Q: What are some of the top milestones you will accomplish in the next 3 years?

We will develop new and improved natural, fully organic fertilizers that are made by using our waste to energy systems, such systems producing electricity or gas power as well as BioChar and if needed, activated charcoal while re-cycling precious water.

These special fertilizers will rejuvenate and regenerate soils and turn clay soils into friable, productive soils and thus will solve, in a small way, the clear felling of forests to produce farming land.
