Indonesian studies show B30 is safe but problems already arising

In Indonesia, China’s Xinhua news agency reports that the government has released studies showing that B30 fuel is safe, however there are reports by some drivers complaining that gel has formed in their tanks following the use of B30. Certain parts of Central Java province where temperatures can fall to 10 degrees Celsius has been challenging for some drivers who say they have ignition challenges in colder temperatures. Palm oil biodiesel doesn’t react as well to cold temperatures as other feedstocks such as rapeseed.
