Canadian bioeconomy center closes after five years

January 30, 2020 |

In Canada, the Biomass North Development Centre has ceased operations. The staff says it has been a challenging and rewarding five years, and they are proud of the role they have played in the emerging bioeconomy. They’ve brokered meaningful partnerships through B2B activities and regional events, built resilient networks of cross-sectoral partners, spanning First Nations, municipalities, industry, and academia. They also educated policy makers and the general public about the vast opportunities in the sector through our public outreach, workshops ,and seminars and through strong international partnerships via inbound and outbound trade missions and annual conferences.
