Indonesia aiming for B40 by July 2021

In Indonesia, the Tempo newspaper reports that the government is looking to implement B40 in July 2021 as it pushes towards its midway goal of B50. Currently blending is at 30%, having moved up from 20% at the start of 2020. In order to reach the long-term goal of B100, however, the country said technology transfer from other countries is required. The Agency for the Assessment and Application of Technology is undertaking road trials of B40 while the government is working to develop an implementation roadmap for the higher blend.
