EPA says still studying appeals court ruling before deciding on SRE reform

In Washington, although Bloomberg reported earlier this week that the Trump Administration was going to revamp how refinery hardship waivers are awarded, Reuters reports that the administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency says the agency is still reviewing last month’s ruling by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit that is forcing the policy rethink. He told a House Committee on Energy and Commerce that the EPA wants to comply with the court ruling but there was no announcement to be made yet.
