In Washington, Reuters reports that the 10th Circuit District Court has rejected the request for a rehearing filed by HollyFrontier and CVR Energy to the court’s January ruling that has turned the Environmental Protection Agency inside out trying to figure out how to change the way it approves small refinery exemptions under the Renewable Fuel Standard. The White House was widely expected to appeal the ruling but in the end it didn’t. Both companies had their SREs rejected by the court in the January ruling.
