Granite Falls Energy decides to remain shut through April

In Minnesota, Granite Falls Energy said in an 8-K SEC filing that due to the continuing market situation resulting from economic impacts related to COVID-19, the company has decided to keep its ethanol plant shut for the remainder of April. When the company first decided to shut the plant on April 3, the expectation was to remain closed for two weeks, but market conditions have not improved sufficiently in order to warrant ramping back up production.
