In Brazil, Louis Dreyfus’ Biosev has postponed its bond offer after investors sought over 12% yields on $500 million that was later lowered to $300 million. A recent bond issue by another Brazilian company cited in comparison by the Wall Street Journal saw a $1.25 billion five-year bond issue pay 4.651% annually.
