Novozymes expands R&D into India

In India, Novozymes, a world leader in bioinnovation opened its new state-of-the art research & development center and office at Whitefield in Bangalore, India. Inaugurating the new R&D complex, Per Falholt said: “We have created a modern research center for Novozymes in India. This center will play an important role in our efforts toward discovering new applications and technologies globally and locally.”

Novozymes is the largest supplier of industrial enzymes and microorganisms in India, catering to requirements in the detergent, food, feed, textile, leather, oils & fats, beverage alcohol, and biofuel industries. India is an important region for the company’s future growth plans. Novozymes is looking to the Indian office to support its global operations, from administration to management and research & development.
