The Deccan Herald reports that in Karnataka State, the Road Transport Corporation (RTC) approved a ethanol diesel blend for RTC vehicles. The RTC said that they were the first public transit company in South Asia to run vehicles on ethanol diesel blends. The goal of the program is improvement of the environment.
