Brisbane, Australia to trial B20 in 25 city buses
Brisbane, capital of the state of Queensland in Australia, has determined to trial B20 biodiesel in 25 of its metro transit buses. Â The move follows completion of a successful two-year trial of biodiesel on two Brisbane ferries.
Previously in Australia, Camden Council conducted a six-month trial comparing the performance of (B100 biodiesel, and found no material difference in fuel consumption or engine wear. A 12-truck trial in Newcastle of B20 also found no material change in pwoer or fuel consumption. A B20 bus trial was conducted in South Australia between June 2002 and February 2003, and found no change in engine performance.
