Atlantic Ethanol to build ethanol plant in Georgia

Atlantic Ethanol will build an ethanol plant near Mount Pleasant, GA , one of a minimum of four that will be needed to supply the 400 million gallons of ethanol required for Georgia under new ethanol mandates. The plant is expected to commence production in 2009.
Atlantic has received permission to construct a 52 Mgy facility in Curtis Bay, Maryland, with groundbreaking expected in early 2008.
