UGas, at 210 NW 79th Avenue in Miami, has become the first to offer E85 in South Florida, it was announced today. South Florida had represented the largest metro population in the US without E85 flex-fuel availability.
Urbieta Oil Co., the owners, expect to expand E85 availability to up to 12 stations in South Florida by the end of 2008. The cost of the refit of the UGas station was $50,000, according to the company.
