Roundup of Brazilian-African trade published: biofuels powers 300% increase

Folha de São Paulo published a roundup of increasing Brazilian investment activity in Africa. The article noted that trade has increase from $3.5 billion in 1997 to 15.6 billion in 2006, and that the African economy is projected by the IMF to grow 6.2 percent in 2007. Brazil has been notably involved in biofuel discussions with Mozambique, Nigeria and recently in Angola.
