Saab managing director criticizes British government for not backing biofuels

The managing director of Saab criticized the British government for failing to support biofuels. He noted that Britain has only 16 E85 ethanol pumps, versus 900 in Sweden and 127 in France.

Recently, the EU approved plans by BP and Associated British Foods to construct a 111 Mgy ethanol plant in Hull scheduled to be online in 2009 and will use wheat as a feedstock.
