E85 station opens in Washington state; first of 25 planned for Interstate 5 corridor
In Washington state, US Ethanol and Wilcox & Flegel Oil. will open the first USETHANOLâ„¢ biofuel station on October 29 in Longview. The station is the first of at least 25 along the I-5 corridor in Washington and Oregon. The stations will carry USETHANOLâ„¢ branded E85, unleaded regular E10, unleaded premium E10 and B5 biodiesel. US Ethanol also owns Northwest Renewable, which is constructing a 55 Mgy ethanol plant in Longview.
This month, Propel Biofuels opened a biodiesel station in Washington, the first to distribute Washington-state produced biodiesel made from canola oil.
