US ethanol production increased 4.3 percent in January, up 36 percent for 2007 overall

The Energy Information Administration said that US ethanol production increased 4.3 percent in January to 664,000 gallons, up from 636,000. The production figure represents a 36 percent increase in production compared to January 2007.
