Verenium moves into startup phase at Louisiana cellulosic ethanol demonstration plant

In Louisiana, Verenium will move from development to startup phase at its demonstration-scale cellulosic ethanol plant in Jennings.

The company’s plan is to move into construction of its first generation of pants following cost model validation at the demonstration-scale plant, with completion of its commercial-scale facility in 2010.
