Biofuels Digest Index falls 2.10 percent to 121.20 on agribusiness, ethanol weakness

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, fell 2.10 percent to close at 121.20, as agribusiness and ethanol stocks both tumbled. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) fell 2.21 percent to close at $43.73,  while Aventine Renewable Energy (AVR) fell 5.96 percent to $4.10 to lead an ethanol decline.

Among small caps, Green Energy Resources (GRGR.PK) rose 12.00 percent to $0.14.  Overall, declines led advances 2 to 1 on the day.
