Biofuels Digest Index gains 1.50 percent to 120.16 as agribusiness, ethanol rally

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, rebounded 1.50 percent to close at 120.16 as agribusiness and ethanol stocks rallied. For the day, The Andersons (ANDE) gained 1.49  percent to close at $43.45 and lead agribusiness gainers, while VeraSun Energy (VSE)  rose 7.93 percent to $6.40.

Among small caps, GreenShift (GERS.OB) leapt 21.11 percent to $.109.  Overall, advances led declines 5 to 2 for the day.
