Biofuels Digest Index gains 0.79 percent to close at 120.25 on ethanol uptick

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, gained 0.79 percent to close at 120.25 on a modest ethanol rally.  For the day, The Andersons (ANDE) fell 1.01 percent to close at $41.15, while  percent to close at $41.57, while Aventine Renewable Energy (AVR) gained 11.50 percent to close at $4.75 and lead a good day for ethanol.

Among small caps, Environmental Power (EPG) gained 4.18 percent to $4.98. Overall, advances led declines 2 to 1 for the day.
