DuPont Applied Bioscience chief tapped as SunEthanol CEO

In Massachusetts, SunEthanol appointed former DuPont Applied BioSciences head William Frey as CEO. Frey was previously chief of DuPont’s biomaterials division, which developed biofuels, biomaterials and biomedical products. SunEthanol is backed by Battery Ventures, Long River Ventures and VeraSun Energy, and received a portion of the $114 milion in grants awarded by the DOE in February for cellulosic ethanol.
