Endicott, Davy sign technical partnership to support new 30 Mgy biodiesel plant in Texas; future facilities in sight
In Texas, Endicott Biofuels and Davy Process Technology announced an technical partnership agreement for the use of Davy’s biodiesel technology at a series of next-generation biodiesel facilities planned by Endicott. The first plant, a 30 Mgy plant that will open in Texas in 2010, has been financed by Haddington Ventures.
Last week in Houston, GreenHunter Energy commenced operations at its 105 Mgy biodiesel plant, which the company said was the nation’s largest. The company’s operations on the Houston Ship Channel include terminal operations and generators that will produce all the electricity needed for the project as well as providing power back to the grid. The company said that it will utilize tallow and jatropha among other feedstocks.
