Biofuels Digest Index gains 2.07 percent to 92.06 on sharp uptick for The Andersons (ANDE)

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, gained 2.07 percent to 92.06 on a sharply improved outlook for The Andersons (ANDE).  For the day, The Andersons rose 26.39 percent to $41.62, while VeraSun Energy advanced 11.39 percent to $4.50.  Among small caps, Texcom (TEXC.PK) fell 20.00 percent to close at $0.08.  Overall, advances led declines 2 to 1 for the day.
