Biofuels Digest Index drops 0.37 percent to 81.20 despite ethanol rally

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, slipped 0.37 percent to 81.20 yesterday despite a strong ethanol recovery. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) fell 0.73 percent to $28.64, while Pacific Ethanol jumped 9.25 percent to $1.89 to lead an ethanol rally.  Among small caps, Environmental Power (EPG) fell 2.92 percent to close at $3.66. Overall, advances led declines 2 to 1 for the day.
