Biofuels Digest Index gains 0.43 percent to 85.81 on agribusiness, ethanol uptick

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, gained 0.43 percent to close at 85.81 on improvement in agribusiness and ethanol.  For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) gained 0.37 percent to close at $30.08, while Aventine Renewable Energy (AVR) gained 4.93 percent to close at $7.02.   Among small caps, Green Plains Renewable Energy (GPRE) gained 1.88 percent to $7.06.  Overall, advances led declines 4 to 3 for the day.
