Biofuels Digest Index drops 1.05 percent to 84.91 as ethanol wilts; BDI closing daily values for last year available for download

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, lost 1.05 percent to close at 84.91 as ethanol stocks were battered.  For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) fell 0.63 percent to $29.89, while VeraSun Energy (VSE) fell 14.49 percent to $6.02 to lead the ethanol rout.  Among small caps, Green Shift (GERS.OB) gained 20.00 percent to $0.06.  Overall, advances and declines were even for the day.
