Greenbelt Resources acquires 20 percent of algae technology developer Renewed World Energies

In Minnesota, Greenbelt Resources has agreed to acquire 20 percent of Renewed World Energies, an algae oil producer with a new technology for harvesting algae using covered ponds and genetically modified algae strains. Under the agreement, Greenbelt will provide distribution for algae fuel.
