The U.S. National Renewable Energy Laboratory and the National Biodiesel Board are reporting on a 12 month study of biodiesel on the St. Louis Metro bus system.
The report showed that fuel economy dropped 1.76 percent for the buses running B20. However, the B20 buses showed a 16 percent increase in “miles between road calls”, a measure of reliability.
