In Canada, at the new 85 Mgy Kawartha Ethanol plant now under construction in Ontario, “There’s not one ounce of water discharged from this plant and not one ounce of waste product coming out of this plant,” CEO Randy Drew to the Community Press. The $6 million project will produce 10 by-products in addition to ethanol, and will have an initial capacity of 42 Mgy.
