Biofuels Digest Index gains 0.38 to 65.68 on ethanol gains

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, gained 0.38 percent to close at 65.68 on selected gains in ethanol stocks. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) rose 2.31 percent to $22.61, while Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) rose 9.93 percent to close at $1.55. Among small caps, Panda Ethanol (PDAE.OB) fell 60 percent to $0.18. Overall, declines led advances 2 to 1.
