Renew Energy, The Doe Fund partner on waste oil biodiesel project for New York City

In New York, Renew Energy Resources and The Doe Fund announced a partnership to form Legacy Oil, that will operate a proposed waste oil-based biodiesel plant in New York City. The Doe Fund (TDF) operates the RWA Resource Recovery Program in the city and will provide the waste oil collection for Legacy, while Renew will provide the biodiesel production and management of the venture as a Renew Energy subsidiary.
