Biofuels Digest Index falls 0.88 percent to 65.68 as ethanol skitters

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, fell 0.88 percent to 65.68 as ethanol stocks declined. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) gained 2.62 percent to close at $23.90, while Cosan (CZZ) dropped 7.61 percent to close at $7.65.  Among small caps, Xethanol (XNL) improved 3.70 percent to $0.28. Overall, declines led advances 4 to 1 for the day.
