In New York, Green Global has expanded capacity with a $600,000 investment based on support from the Niagara County development board. The waste oil biodiesel producer is co-collecting waste vegetable oil from Buffalo-area restaurants with Buffalo Biodiesel, supplementing with soybeans. “Biodiesel has less energy per gallon than does diesel fuel,” CEO Dan Schriber told the Buffalo News. “However, it atomizes finer in the diesel engine and hence, burns more completely and gives more power to the engine with less soot and less emissions,” he added.
