Maple Energy increases investment in Peru sugarcane ethanol plant to $222 million

In Peru, Maple Energy announced that it would increase investment in its Peru sugarcane ethanol plant to $222 million, to allow for increased cane processing and steam generation equipment. The project is on track to be completed in 2009 and will process 1.7 million tonnes of cane annually.
