Australian 32 Mgy biodiesel plant idled as receivers seek buyer

In Australia, the 32 Mgy Natural Fuels Australia biodiesel plant in Darwin has been idled while the [bankruptcy] administrator seeks a buyer for the plant. Australia’s biggest biodiesel plant in Darwin will be mothballed while the search continues for a buyer. The company collapsed when partner Babcock & Brown pulled out of the venture, citing market conditions.  The venture was the first company to export biodiesel from Australia when it commenced exports in mid-2007.
