IHC Zukunft buys bankrupt Austrian biodiesel plant for $49 million

In Austria, IHC Zukunft, an affiliate of the Reiffeisen Foundation has acquired the bankrupt Enns biodiesel plant for $49 million. The purchase price is equal to the liens outstanding on the plant, which collapsed earlier this year with $103 million in debts, the biggest bankruptcy case in Austria since 2001.
