US Trade and Development Agency grants $572,000 to Uganda for biofuels development studies

In Uganda, the US Trade and Development Agency) announced a $572,000 grant to the Ugandan Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development to analyze the market for biofuels in Uganda. The grant will finance the production of a cost-benefit analysis on biofuels resources and the application of biofuel technologies, as well as recommend a structure for a national biofuels industry, including regulations and incentives.
