Flex Fuel Energy nears decision on construction, engineering for Welsh rapeseed biodiesel plant

In Wales, Flex Fuels Energy said that it will make a decision later this month on its engineering and construction partners for an oilseed-crushing and biodiesel plant the company plans to build in Cardiff. The company said that it will focus on rapeseed oil-based biodiesel. The company said that fallout from the recent Gallagher Report on the indirect impacts of biofuel production, combined with the continuing impact of subsidized imports from the US and South America, were uncertainty factors in terms of the company finalizing a construction and operations schedule.
