Biofuels Digest Index pluges 8.51 percent to new low of 46.36 as world equities sell-off continues

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, plunged 8.51 percent to an all-time low of 46.36 as world markets plunged.  Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) dropped 10.22 percent to $15.29, while VeraSun Energy (VSE) recovered 6.17 percent to $1.72 among rare winners for the day. Among small caps, Momentum Biofuels (MMBF.OB) gained 28.57 percent to $0.09. Overall, declines led advances 2 to 1 for the day.
