Biofuels Digest Index drops 0.28 percent to new low of 46.23 as ethanol improves

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, nudged down 0.28 percent to a new low of 0.28 percent as ethanol stocks stabilized amidst more equities meltdown on global bourses.  Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) improved 1.05 percent to $15.45, while Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) jumped 10.47 percent to $0.95. Among small caps, GreenShift (GERS.OB) fell 50.00 percent to $0.01. Overall, declines and advances were even for the day.
