In Germany, Verbio has resumed ethanol production at its plant in Zorbig, in Saxony-Anhalt. Klaus-Dieter Bettien, Managing Director of VERBIO Ethanol Zörbig said in a statement, “We are pleased to power up production of bioethanol in Zörbig. In a generally declining market, the price of bioethanol has stabilised. We are also benefiting from an increased demand for bioethanol, also due to the increase in the admixture quota planned for the coming year, and our flexibility in the use of raw materials.”
