Leyte Agri Corp launches first ethanol plant in the Philippines

In the Philippines, Leyte Agri Corp. has commenced operations  at its 800,000 gallon ethanol plant in Barangay Ipil, while the 12 Mgy San Carlos plant will commence operations in January, according to bworld. The Leyte Agri Corp plant, adjacent to a 2 Mgy sugarcane food alcohol plant, is the first operating in the country.
