In Michigan, the state Energy Office has awarded $125,000 grant to the Clean Energy Coalition, which will offer incentives of up to $5,000 per service station to assist with the cost of converting pumps to E85. The program requires conversions to be completed by July 2009, and is expected to add 25 percent to Michigan’s current total of 80 E85 stations around the state. Station owners are required to serve E85 for a minimum of three years after receipt of the incentive.
