In Florida, GreenHunter Energy, which operates the largest US biodiesel plant (a 105 Mgy facility in Houston) said that has paid $1 million for an option to develop a $70 million biofuels production and storage facility at the Port of Tampa. The company also recently acquired a 14 MW power plant in Tallahassee that produces power from wood waste.
