In Maine, oil wholesalers have commenced blending E10 this week, however an official at the state Office of Energy Independence and Security told the Sun Journal that the change was not government-mandated, but was the product of market forces. Federal tax credits were said to be more than sufficient, when combined with the spread between oil and ethanol prices.
