The first transcontinental biofuels-powered flight across the US is underway. The THH team’s flight, originating in Chino, CA is planned to conclude today at Kitty Hawk, NC, near the spot where the Wright Brothers first demonstrated engine-powered flight in 1903. The biodiesel-powered small propeller-based aircraft is overnighting in Ft. Smith, AR. Updates on the flight are here, and the location of the aircraft is plotted here.
